Hi friends and family!! We've been so busy with schooling, foster kids, and jobs that I totally forgot to update our blogspot! Silly me :) Ron is doing super well in school, all A's so far. I'm so proud of him.
We have been challenged with two teenage foster girls. They have been a joy to our lives as much as a leaning experience. It looks like the one girl will stay with us until she graduates.
The church is still moving forward. We've had some set backs but we're trusting God to fulfill His will for the church. I think these last five years of our lives have been the most challenging.
It's really not about how fast we get there, it really is about the process or the climb as Miley Cyrus says.

The Reality
We must be able to "mount up with wings like eagles" ( Isaiah 40:31 ), but we must also know how to come down. The power of the saint lies in the coming down and in the living that is done in the valley. Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" ( Philippians 4:13 ) and what he was referring to were mostly humiliating things. And yet it is in our power to refuse to be humiliated and to say, "No, thank you, I much prefer to be on the mountaintop with God." Can I face things as they actually are in the light of the reality of Jesus Christ, or do things as they really are destroy my faith in Him, and put me into a panic?-My Utmost for His Highest

So...Ron has finally begun graduate school at Indiana Wesleyan! I'm so excited for him! It really is a challenge though...with all the school work and extra hours on the computer. He's going to try and juggle pastoring with schooling...so we'll see how it goes. I think it will open so many more doors for him in the future. I'm so thrilled to see him do this amazing thing!
We have a new foster daughter, Autumn..she's 16. Whew! What a change from the little ones. It's been good so far, just trying to get used to everyone and all the newness that comes along with a new placement.
We covet your prayers!
